Rachel Van Buskirk is a communications-minded arts leader, former professional dancer, choreographer, and co‑founder of Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre. Rachel danced 13 years with Atlanta Ballet in leading classical and contemporary roles and has been recognized on Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” ArtsATL’s “30 Under 30,” and with a Nonprofit Leadership Award. At Terminus she led communications and marketing as Marketing Director and board member, developed editorial strategy and creative production, choreographed award‑winning work, and grew organizational visibility and audience engagement.
As a creative, deadline‑driven communications professional with 8+ years leading marketing, content, and media for arts organizations, Rachel brings strong storytelling, feature writing, AP Style editing, and data‑informed campaign experience to institutional communications. She’s skilled in editorial planning, social media and CRM strategy (AudienceView/Salesforce), web content, photo/video production, and cross‑departmental project management. Recently graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Management (Robinson College of Business), Rachel now focuses on translating her passion for storytelling into strategic communications that elevate programs, deepen audience relationships, and drive measurable growth.
